The Société du Grand Paris has confirmed that line 17 of the Grand Paris Express will go to Mesnil-Amelot. The station will also be built in this municipality.

A press conference of the Société du Grand Paris cleared the last doubts: line 17 will go to Mesnil-Amelot.

But it was announced, in addition, that a station will be built in this same municipality. Its location is already found.

Indeed, access to the future station will be via the rue de Paris.

A car park will be built in front of the future building and will accommodate cars, but also buses, taxis and bicycles.

The future line 17 should facilitate access to the north of Seine-et-Marne, as Alain Aubry, mayor of Mesnil-Amelot, explained to magjournal77.fr :

"The achievement will open up all of northern Seine-et-Marne, it is obvious, and even more particularly the territory of the inter-municipal Roissy Pays de France, also that of our friends and neighbors Plains and mountains of France, and the south of the Oise. Finally, it will allow a very fast connection, in 20 minutes, from Mesnil-Amelot to Saint-Denis-Pleyel, with all the interconnections that will be possible. This is the news we've been waiting for. "

Until then, significant work will still have to be done. Among them, the construction of a tunnel (6,5 km) connecting Le Mesnil-Amelot to Tremblay-en-France.

The future Mesnil-Amelot station is expected in 2030.
