A new travel advisor at the Tourist Office in Écouen

Angeliki is our new stay counselor at the Tourist Information Office of'Écouen. She is in office since early June 2021 and will participate in the promotion of the rich nature, cultural and heritage offer that is our beautiful commune of Écouen.

Angeliki is born in Athens in Greece, where she lived for many years. She realized there a literary baccalaureate followed by studies in French and Greek language and literature. Then, she continued her studies by carrying out a master one year in French as a foreign language by correspondence with the CNED. This is subsequently materialized by a position of over twenty years in Athens as a French teacher. After this rich career, Angeliki decides to come and settle in France in 2013. At first, she does tutoring with friends of her children.

In 2018, Angeliki is part of a BTS tourism with accelerated training that lasts one year. She realizes on this occasion several internships. These allow him to have a global view of different institutions inherent in the tourist world. Thus, she begins her training with a six-week post at the Serotel Lutèce hotel in Paris as receptionist. Then she is immersed for three weeks at Val d'Oise adventures, a leisure structure specializing in bicycle and canoe rental. There, she discovered tourist activities by participating in the accompaniment of groups. Finally, she ends with a three-week experience at the Poissy Tourist Office as a travel advisor.

This last professional experience is a revelation for her. Angeliki always has enjoyed traveling and visiting cultural and heritage places. It above all likes to pass on to others the things she has seen, discovered, talk about points of interest. Thus, the post of travel advisor in Écouen suits her perfectly. The town has a great tourist wealth that Angeliki does not fail to share with the curious who come to the Office.
