In summer 2021, trains ran between Quimper, which is located in Finistère, and Roissy Charles-de-Gaulle airport. Thus, the operation will be renewed since from April to September 2022, Ouigo will once again provide you with this transport.

For several years, SNCF has sought to develop its network of low-cost trains in France and in Europe. The objective is therefore to reach 25% of high-speed traffic in France by 2025. In addition, in 2023, the group will seek to welcome 25 million customers per year. This represents 100 million travelers by 2025.

Since 2015, it was already possible to take an Ouigo in Quimper to reach Rennes. Last year, for the first time, from July 3 to August 29, Ouigo trains linked Quimper to Ile-de-France. Thus, the latter went through Charles-De-Gaulle (via Marne-la-Vallée Chessy, Massy TGV, Rennes, Vannes, Auray and Lorient stations). For a five-hour journey, the train made a daily trip from Monday to Friday between Quimper and Paris airport.

This summer, 40 travelers were able to benefit from this transport. Building on this success, the SNCF has therefore decided to extend the experiment over six months between April and September 000 ”. Tickets will be available at a price starting at € 2022. Ultimately, the goal is to offer stops in central Paris and Montparnasse station. With this in mind, from 16, Ouigo will continue its development in Brittany by offering a daily return trip to connect Brest and Quimper to the center of Paris all year round.
