The City of Gonesse inaugurated a few days ago an electric vehicle charging station, close to Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport.

Indeed, it is the companies G7 and Electra who jointly inaugurated a very fast charging station for cars electric in the town of Gonesse. Thus, in just fifteen to twenty minutes, a recharge complete of the car can be carried out in the Ibis Gonesse car park located at 2 rue de Montservon. Regarding prices, the company offers a payment facility for drivers, with payment of refills at the end of the month as well as a competitive price.

By installing this new thick headed, the presidents of the two entities want to send a message, the automobile of the future will necessarily be electric. According to the president of G7, nearly seven out of ten vehicles in his fleet are hybrids, and the next step, which has already begun, will be the transition to electric.

Today, 2% of vehicles in France are electric, but the two companies are counting on the expansion of this market in the coming years.

For municipality, the installation of a terminal in the town, near Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, was a necessity, due to the traffic generated by the flow of passengers at the airport.
