The launch of the 3rd edition of the Festival "Un temps pour Elles" took place on Saturday June 10, 2023, at 20 p.m., in the Grange Dîmière of the Abbey of Maubuisson, in Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (Val-d'Oise ).
This event, created to compensate for the absence of women in modern musical programming, will highlight female composers and the famous Grand Prix de Rome during this new program! Supreme award granted to composers of classical music of the XNUMXth centurye the XXe century, this competition was not open to women until 1903.
With “nearly a hundred artists, 50 different female composers and sometimes (and too often…) completely new programmed works”, the team of the Un temps pour Elles festival wanted to offer “an ambitious, curious and above all enthusiastic ".
