After the inauguration of the EHD with the concert of the saxophone quintet of the Republican Guard, we invite you to meet again on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September in Luzarches. Indeed, three guided tours are organized over these two days. Come and discover the evolution of this charming village through its history and its architectural heritage.

First of all, meeting on Saturday September 18 at 10 a.m. at the Halle de Luzarches. Famous for its autumn fairs, the town has developed around its market hall. This town, the 3rd post house on the road from Paris to Amiens, has been prosperous since the High Middle Ages. It had a large number of inns and hostels. Until the middle of the XNUMXth century, agricultural production and its marketing constituted the essential resource of this village which has kept its rural character. Subsequently, the evolution of Luzarches in the XNUMXth century is remarkable. Indeed, it is from this period that the Town Hall, the hospital-hospice, the school and the railway date in particular. During a two-hour visit, we invite you to discover all these places, with an exceptional visit to the town hall!

Then, we will be waiting for you at 16 p.m. in the forecourt of Saint Côme et Saint Damien church. For two hours, come and discover "the lords of the Château de la Motte". Retrace this amazing story with us. These have a common history with our church because they have also contributed to its embellishment. This visit will be illustrated by the LM Danse Company. This will offer ancient dances from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.

the last visit will take place on Sunday September 19 from 15 p.m. to 17 p.m. A real walk through time, you can contemplate the eclectic architecture of Luzarches. During this stroll, you will be able to admire architectural styles as diverse as they are original, which evoke the city's past from the Middle Ages to the XNUMXth century: the Saint Damien district, Saint Côme or the rue Vivien with its villas.
The visit will end with the Villa Charlotte, built by Prince Louis II of Monaco. On this occasion, you will be able to enjoy a concert by the Harmonie de Luzarches.
