In September 2019, hotel performances posted a positive RevPAR evolution (+ 5,8%), mainly due to the increase in average prices (+ 6,6%) because attendance is slightly down (0,7 point) compared to September 2018.
September was a rich month in events with the holding of several Maison & Objet, TexWorld, Premiere Vision and Silmo. With the exception of TexWorld, all of these fairs were also held last year in September. We can also see that the biggest price increase took place on September 16, the first day of the TexWorld trade fair.
The hotels located on the Allée du Verger are the only ones to display all activity indicators in the green. Indeed, on the other two zones, if the evolution of RevPAR is positive (+ 1% for the Airport zone and + 3,9% for the Villepinte / Paris Nord 2 zone), attendance was down compared to September 2018.
