A day of meetings

Le Franciliens Cultural Leisure Forum was held this year September 14, at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, in compliance with current health standards.

This day of meetings dedicated to B2B, allows those involved in tourism and culture to discover the region's cultural offer of the season.

About 400 buyers and group organizers, from Paris and its region, were expected:

  • Works councils
  • Associations
  • Event agencies
  • Incoming agencies
  • MICE agencies
  • Venue Finder (agency or independent consultant specializing in finding and helping to choose a venue for a corporate event)
  • Hoteliers
  • Concierge services
  • Tourism prescribers

Upstream of the Forum, the Office sent an invitation campaign to 4 contacts : associations, CSE (Social and Economic Committee), CCAS (Communal Center for Social Action), travel agencies…

It was Bousso Niass, our group manager, and Tariana Carvalho, our business tourism manager, who represented the Grand Roissy Tourist Office. They told us about their day.

The Tourist Office still present at the FLCF

On September 14, exhibitors arrived at 8:30 a.m. for the installation scheduled for 9:30 a.m. We were greeted by a word from the organizers: the Paris Île-de-France Regional Tourism Committee and the Management of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.

Then, the Forum opened its doors at 10 am, to an audience mainly made up of associations, CSEs and receptive and event agencies.

Special feature this year: the Franciliens Cultural Leisure Forum highlighted the MICE offers. As the show has been mainly known so far for leisure offers, few visits have been recorded for MICE.

The Tourist Office was ideally placed at the entrance to the Forum. Despite the health context, we received twice as many visits and contacts as in 2019! Indeed, prospects want to keep abreast of news and current reception conditions in the various places of the Grand Roissy.

Our Destination brochure and our Groups brochure, redesigned for the occasion, were distributed in a totebag containing a USB key with our destination promotional film, a notebook and a pen.

Among the offers we offer, we have noted a particular interest in the days of Roissy: the visit of the airport by coach then that of the Air and Space Museum. The day in Écouen and Royaumont: discovering the jewels of the region, also seems to be very popular.

Like other tourism professionals, we have noticed a strong desire to take advantage of the outdoors, and especially to go out again as soon as possible, a consequence of the few weeks of confinement in the spring.

Finally, the Forum closed its doors at 17 p.m.

The Grand Roissy Tourist Office would like to thank the Regional Tourist Board and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris for their welcome!
