The 17th European Night of Museums takes place this Saturday July 3. Discover the program in the museums of the Grand Roissy.

For this 2021 edition of the European Night of Museums, ARCHEA invites you to visit its new temporary exhibition Archi'contemporain, today's buildings for yesterday's objects.

In addition, the evening will be the occasion to inaugurate the cycle of the 10 years of the museum with an exceptional projection on the facade of the museum, signed Dorian Rigal - Midnight and created especially for the event.

Finally, you can also participate in several workshops, including a new “Light Painting” workshop, exceptional tours of the temporary exhibition as well as an escape game “Panique à Saint-Rieul”.

Château d'Écouen - National Renaissance Museum - Écouen

Guillaume Fonkenell, curator of the exhibition, offers you an introduction to theexhibition "The Renewal of the Passion: religious sculpture between Chartres and Paris around 1540".

The objective of this exhibition is to show that religious sculpture has undergone a renewal as important as funerary, allegorical or festive sculpture and that it has also played a leading role in the development of a new artistic language. around 1540. It is an opportunity to review well-known works, such as the set of five reliefs sculpted by Jean Goujon for Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois, one of the most famous works of the French Renaissance, exceptionally on loan by the Louvre museum. For the 2021 edition of the European Night of Museums, the Museum of the Great War organize a evening of tales of a summer night around the Great War.
