On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, we are expecting many of you to relieve you of a day placed under the sign of music. Indeed, you will be able to vibrate to the rhythm of two concerts organized in Écouen on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.

"Pauca Meae": meet at the Château d'Écouen

First of all, on Saturday September 18, a first concert will be held at 18 p.m. We give you meet in the courtyard of the Château d'Écouen. This Sylvain Daniel concert is organized by the National Renaissance Museum at the Château. This is supported by the shared residence of the DRAC Ile-de-France and the Departmental Council of Val d'Oise. Thus, “Pauca Meae” is a “modern” musical setting from Book IV of Victor Hugo's Contemplations for electric quartet, string quartet and narrator. You will be able to find original marriages there: a bass and new wave synths which meet chamber music and collide with the jolts of a piano carried by the swell. In addition, an actor will proclaim Hugo's words on this occasion.
