On the occasion of this 9th edition, the Constable's festival à ÉCOUEN transports you through a history imbued with modernity. The festivities will take place on May 20, 21 and 22. Embark on an exotic weekend through one of the richest programs!

A rich program

Popular event organized by the City ofÉCOUEN, the National Museum of the Renaissance and local partners, the festival honors built and natural heritage through the Renaissance and Anne de Montmorency.

Indeed, shows, wanderings, concerts, theatrical performances, conferences, events and workshops will follow one another for your greatest happiness! Stroll through the arts and crafts, horticultural and gourmet markets. Thus, meet around thirty craftsmen and exhibitors, each more passionate than the next. Around 50 stands will be staffed by professional artisans. In addition, let yourself be carried away as a family by the many fun activities offered in the family village. In the program ? Old-fashioned merry-go-round, large wooden games, make-up, giant goose game, off-the-wall library, “build your purse” workshop, virtual tour of the “Renaissance” site, life-size dinette.

The festival will start on Friday, May 20! Thus, the city's local producers' market will take up residence in the Mail from 16 p.m., alongside food trucks. All animated and punctuated by a Batucada parade from 17:30 p.m. Finally, meet at 21 p.m. at the outdoor cinema to open the festivities for this weekend. The latter will settle in Lemaire Park for a family screening.

Mediations addressed to the inhabitants of Écouen

This year's edition will highlight mediations offered to Ecouennais upstream of the festival. Thus, we will find there beatmaking workshops, writing workshops, creation of dioramas, theatrical workshops... These mediations take place within the framework of a partnership with the National Museum of the Renaissance, the valley theater, the association "Whose turn" and heritage associations. They aim to accompany new audiences to the festival.
