In June 2022, Grand Roissy hotels continued to rise with an occupancy rate across all categories reaching 79,5%: 53 points higher than June 2021. This observation confirms the recovery of activity within Grand Roissy.

Events and business tourism, very promising for the resumption of activity

The holding of several events has allowed the maintenance of business tourism as well as events, making it possible to generate a significant number of overnight stays. Thus within the Villepinte exhibition center was held from June 13 to 17, 2022 the Eurosatory exhibition; which welcomed nearly 62 visitors and more than 000 exhibitors. Other major public events were also held, such as the LAFIA Salon Internationale Africain, which was held from June 1 to 700, 22. Nearly 26 exhibitors and more than 2022 visitors gathered there.

Air traffic continues to grow

In the month of June 2022, Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport welcomed 5,5 million passengers; i.e. an increase of 3,8 million passengers compared to June 2021. This level of performance is thus gradually approaching historical performance, representing in particular 78,8% of traffic in June 2019.

The average price of all Grand Roissy hotels exceeds its 2019 level

The gradual return of international customers, coupled with the resumption of MICE events and business tourism within local businesses; allows the hotels du Greater Roissy to record performances close to their historic levels of 2019.

Overall, the hotel occupancy rate is only 13,8 points below its June 2019 level. Super-budget hotels (1 and 2 stars) stand out in particular with a gap that has been greatly reduced: -3,5 points.

The average price of all hotels in Grand Roissy exceeded its 2019 level by 2,3% this month. This level of performance is made possible in particular thanks to the economic segments (3 stars); mid-range (4 stars) and tourist residences (5 stars); which record average prices up by +9,9% and +4,0% respectively.
