Great start to the year for the Grand Roissy Tourist Office! Indeed, the latter was rewarded at the beginning of March for the score of 94,25% for the renewal of its Quality Tourism brandTM, in the form of mystery visits in our 3 offices (Roissy-en-France, ÉCOUEN et Luzarches). In the continuity of our desire for perpetual progress, our objective is to satisfy our customers as well as possible. In addition, the advantage is also to have an internal management tool. Thus, since 2013, our Office has been classified in category 1. It also holds the Quality Tourism brandTM, the only state mark awarded to tourism professionals. The latter rewards them for the quality of their welcome and their services.

Meet the expectations of our various interlocutors through the Quality Tourism brand

The Quality Tourism brand is the essence of the quality approach deployed by the Tourist Office. With the commitment of management and all staff, the Quality Tourism brandTM tends to provide several services. These meet the current and future expectations of our customers, our partners and our communities. As a general comment, the auditor pointed out that: “The exchanges by phone, email and on site were positive, revealing a multidisciplinary and mobile team. »

It serves to legitimize the fact that our Tourist Office meets the requirements set by the reference system of an Office classified in category I. As a result, the Tourist Office benefits from support from several players in the area. Thus, there are in particular Tourism DNAVal d'Oise Tourism and  Paris Region Regional Tourism Committee. These allow us to perpetuate our quality system and follow the evolutions of the brand. Similarly, since 2021, the standard has incorporated criteria in terms of sustainable development. These are part of our will and our eco-responsible approach. The latter is the result of several reflections over several years within our three offices. In particular, the auditor pointed out in her assessment that:

“Various actions are implemented at the offices: selective sorting, Sustainable Development is part of the budget of the office which participates in the university of sustainable tourism. Note the presence of 3 touch screens to avoid paper printing but plans continue to be distributed in hotels and travel agencies. Many applications via QR Codes in offices replace paper formats and applications also exist for children. »

A duty of excellence: the Grand Roissy tourist office ranked category 1

Tourist Offices can be classified, as part of a voluntary process. The ranking is a powerful lever for strengthening their unifying role and allows local authorities to access certain advantages. In 2016, the classification of the Tourist Office in category I contributed to the classification of Roissy-en-France en Tourist station. This constitutes the recognition of a reception of excellence.

In 2018, due to the merger-absorption, the category 1 classification of the Office (formerly Roissy Clé de France) and ownership of the Qualité Tourisme brand have been extended to new Ecouen ILO et Luzarches.
