Reopening of the Plaine Oxygène Aquatic Center
After several months of work, the Plaine Oxygène aquatic complex located at Mesnil-Amelot will reopen in January 2022. Since October 2022, the school public has already been able to enjoy swimming.
Victim of poor workmanship, works have been implemented since 2019 to put this back on its feet place of 40 860 m². The latter is composed of: an aquatic center, a fitness center, an Océane space, a restaurant which will open its doors in spring 2022.
Le outdoor pool, which had never been put into service so far, has been refurbished. However, we will have to wait a few more months to be able to take advantage of it.
De new equipment will emerge such as a rink, adjoining the swimming pool (provided for in the initial project). The latter should open at the end of 2022, in place of the Plaine de jeux.
New hotels to come
Despite the still complicated health context, new hotels will open this year :
- Opening, probably in February / March, of the hotel Courtyard (still under construction) in Roissy-en-France.
- The sign Residence Inn will also arrive in Roissy-en-France;
- Without forgetting the very first Easy Hotel Ile-de-France which will open its doors from January 12, 2022 in Tremblay-en-France.
Creating a Layover Tour
During the summer of 2022, the Tourist Office will offer discovery escapades nuggets of our territory.
Even if world tourism is still severely affected by the health crisis, we must not relax our efforts to make the Grand Roissy destination ever more attractive. The Grand Roissy Tourist Office therefore wishes to relaunch local tourism by creating a Layover Tour. The latter should serve emblematic points of the Grand Roissy such as:
- Le Aéroville shopping center (near the airport area)
- Le Plaine Oxygène aquatic complex (at Mesnil-Amelot)
- Le Roissy International Golf
- Le Archéa Museum (located in Louvres)
- Le National Renaissance Museum - Château d'Écouen
New Baludik course for spring 2022
Created in partnership with the Roissy Pays-de-France Agglomeration Community, Baludik offers tours in the form of treasure hunts and treasure hunts, perfect for families with children.
By following the clues, we discover a territory and its history. Baludik offers courses in the municipalities of Roissy-en-France, Le Mesnil-Amelot, Dammartin-en-Goële and ÉCOUEN.
This year, a new course in Roissy-en-France will be offered in 2022 on the theme of sustainable development and the environment..
End of single-use T + tickets
The booklets of 10 single-use T + tickets (allowing to take the buses, metros, RER, trains and trams in Ile-de-France) will soon disappear and cease to be marketed entirely in September 2022, replaced by the Navigo Easy card.
To replace them, more ecological and economical dematerialized transport tickets are available. available now at the OT Grand Roissy.
The advantages of the Navigo Easy Pass:
- Simultaneously store several different tickets on a single card.
- Sold at a price of 2 € and rechargeable as many as you want.
- Non nominative, you can lend or transfer your Navigo Easy.
- No risk of demagnetization in contact with keys or coins.
- Solution beneficial for the environment because 1 cardboard ticket takes between 1 and 2 years to degrade.
